The Chief Consumption Officer and a cohort (Airdrie Alkey) attended the grand opening weekend of Denim in Queensland. Denim is a downtown style lounge located in a suburban strip mall. Formerly known as Spadz (a tough handle), the new lounge caters to local University types and their parents' friends. A large bar allows for conversation and a place to watch the game even while the house band plays Canadian rock standards. The service, from an unknown but amusing young waitress, was casual and engaging.
