Comments
I have to agree with most of the above comments.
In theory, this should be the best pub in town - awesome location, wicked deck, and tonnes of beer on tap.
However, I am constantly disappointed with the food and the service.
The wings, like most of the food, are medicore on their best day...and it takes FOREVER to place and order, then get your food.
Check out Sam's next door or K-pub (Kensington Pub) down the road for much better food and service.
wow - great wings, even better service, the wings came out hot, and for us, they weren't made an hour before and warmed up to serve like some pubs.
reccomend!
Tried last week & wings were extremely small and scrawny to the point that they were just skin & bones with sauce ! It seemed like a great way to turn customers off from ever trying other food items on the menu. It certainly did that to me !
Checked this place out on Saturday night and wasn't very busy. Took forever to get the waitress to take out order - one of my buddies finally just went and found her and told her we wanted 1lb of hot and 1lb of S&P. The wings we're a bit on the thin and overcooked side, but the hot sauce flavour was decent. The did manage to throw some Ranch and celery/carrots with it. And at $11/lb for the quality of the wings, I couldn't be hitting this spot up again anytime soon.
Other highlights include watching the women's soccer team that was there that night as well as being kicked out of the 'private area' that was booked for Rachel.
Gotta agree with Chewybakah - took forever to get the wings. Then they pretended to not realize it was wing night and charge us at regular price (like $45 instead of $5!). Waitress was cute though. Wings were average once they came.
