On a whim I went in for a few wings and a beer on cheap night. GREAT decision! The wings turned out to be 1¢ instead of 9¢, and were worth every penny. I'd favourably compare them to all the other good wings I've had in Calgary. Beer was ice cold. Salt and pepper wings actually had both salt and pepper on them! Thumbs up!
Been there a couple times, the wings were decent. Good selection of flavors. The inside of the place is nice too, lots of tvs and good interior. They also come nice and crispy. My only complaint is the service. All the times iv been there it was slow and bad service. They also have $8 schooners of molson which is nice to have with some wings.
They have more flavors than the ones mentioned. They also have honey garlic, bbq, lemon pepper
Went there again, because the place across the street didn't have their wings on that day (The Rusty Cage).
The wings have since shrunk in size. It was quite laughable at how 10 wings didn't even fill half of a plate.
Plus they were served on stone cold plates. So after 3 minutes the wings were cold too, just like they came out of the fridge.
Service was terrible again. The place was EMPTY and we still waited over 1 hour to order.
Plus the wings were either under cooked (pink) or charred to a crisp.
Their drinks are also WAY overpriced. Only order soda pop and it's not as bad (still $3.50 for a pop??!?!?!!!WTF).
I would never recommend this place to anyone I knew.
I would recommend the place across the street though. The Rusty Cage, on Fridays between 5 and 6pm has a FREE buffet. Plus during that time (Mon to Fri 5-6pm) it's Power Hour, so ANY drink is only $2.75!!! Plus, on their wing special I was allowed to take my leftovers.
Went last week and wings were awesome. Hot and fresh and really tasty. Went this week and they were garbage - old, cold and dry. Good wings here are just luck-of-the-draw...
Agree with some others that the CBP chain sucks ass, but for wings this is at least the best of the bunch. Decent wings, decent size, and decent flavours. Maybe we got lucky but the service was actually pretty good even though it was packed for a Flames game on the tube. Liked the decor for a large pub - they've divided it up well.
